announce that Pretoria University, Nalsar University and Osgoode
Hall made it to the Finals, after which Pretoria was declared
overall winner. Congratulations to Pretoria! Twelve teams from China, The
Netherlands, India, South Africa, Serbia, Canada, Russia, Germany,
Chile and Egypt will participate in the first edition of the Trial
Competition. |

2nd Annual Debate on the progress of The Hague Programme between
policy makers, practitioners and academics was organised by ICLN in
cooperation with the Austrian en Finnish Presidencies of the EU, the
European Commission, Eurojust, Europol and the General Secretariat
of the Council of the EU.

Annual Conference in December 2007 in The Hague. This year ICLN
chose to discuss the current structures and future possibilities of

the Rome Statute. Prof. Gerard Strijard (moderator), Judge Mauro
Politi, Prof. Goran Sluiter and Gabrielle Mattioli will share their
views on "10 Years after the Rome Statute: How do the July 1998
