ICLN is proud to announce that Pretoria University, Nalsar University and Osgoode Hall made it to the Finals, after which Pretoria was declared overall winner. Congratulations to Pretoria!

Twelve teams from China, The Netherlands, India, South Africa, Serbia, Canada, Russia, Germany, Chile and Egypt will participate in the first edition of the Trial Competition.

ICLN's 5th Anniversary

ICLN celebrated its 5th with a symposium on the future of professions in international criminal law. Speakers were:

Mr Michaïl Wladimiroff (President of ICLN), Mr Michael Kennedy (Eurojust), Mr Hans Holthuis (Registrar ICTY), Judge Wolfgang Schomburg (ICTY), Mr Geertjan Knoops (International Lawyer), Prof Theo de Roos (Tilburg University)

"The 2nd Annual Hague Programme Debate"

A framework for discussing measurable annual progress of the Hague Programme in the field of security and justice

This 2nd Annual Debate on the progress of The Hague Programme between policy makers, practitioners and academics was organised by ICLN in cooperation with the Austrian en Finnish Presidencies of the EU, the European Commission, Eurojust, Europol and the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU.

The Hague

The International Criminal Law Network organised its 6th Annual Conference in December 2007 in The Hague. ICLN Annual Reception 2008

ICLN's Annual Reception will take 25 June in the Carlton Ambassador Hotel. The lecture (16-18h) and reception (18h onwards) will be dedicated to the 10th Anniversary of the Rome Statute. Prof. Gerard Strijard (moderator), Judge Mauro Politi, Prof. Goran Sluiter and Gabrielle Mattioli will share their views on "10 Years after the Rome Statute: How do the July 1998 expectations match today's reality of the ICC?".
