ICLN Launch Meeting On June 17th 2002, in the centre of the international criminal law community The Hague, the International Criminal Law Network has been launched. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Deetman, Mayor of The Hague and member of the ICLN Advisory Board, and took place in "Sociëteit De Witte", Het Plein in the very centre of The Hague. Speakers at this meeting included Mr. Storbeck, Director of Europol, Mr. Holthuis, ICTY Registrar, Mr Wellenstein, Director General task Force ICC and Professor Ferencz, Former Nuremberg Prosecutor. More than 150 ICLN members and guests attended this first social event of ICLN. If you would like to attend future meetings, please register as an ICLN member.
Peace Palace Library Online Catalogue The ICLN website offers links to partners in the field of international criminal law. One of these partners is the Peace Palace that provides an Online Catalogue in international law.
Creation of the International Criminal Bar (ICB) in Montreal The Paris Bar, the Bar of The Netherlands, the ICDAA, the Bar of Mexico, the Federation of German Bars, the Bar of Quebec, the Bar of Montreal, the Senegal Bar representing French speaking Bars of Africa, the NACDL and AsF-WORLD, sponsored by Mr. Walter SCHWIMMER, General Secretary of the European Council, and with the support of the CICC have organized a conference in Montreal in June 2002 to debate and approve a draft Constitution for an International Criminal Bar for the International Criminal Court.
