For the advancement of international criminal law professional and social interaction between academics, policymakers and legal professionals on a worldwide level is essential. In addition, with the establishment of new institutions such as the ICC and Eurojust, the exchange of knowledge needs to be structured. Therefore, experts from the world’s international criminal law community together with Dutch governmental parties and Science Alliance founded ICLN, the International Criminal Law Network. ICLN organises global interaction between academics, policymakers and legal professionals in international criminal law. ICLN operates from The Hague, the host of the ICTY, the ICC, Europol, Eurojust and many other institutions in the field of international criminal law.
