On June 17th 2002, in the centre of the international criminal law community The Hague, the International Criminal Law Network has been launched. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Deetman, Mayor of The Hague and member of the ICLN Advisory Board, and took place in "Sociëteit De Witte", Het Plein in the very centre of The Hague. Speakers at this meeting included Mr. Storbeck, Director of Europol, Mr. Holthuis, ICTY Registrar, Mr Wellenstein, Director General task Force ICC and Professor Ferencz, Former Nuremberg Prosecutor.
